The Rising Dragons Initiative
The Mission
There are "Hidden Dragons" among our local middle school athletes, those with the raw power and drive to be great, but who are sitting on the sidelines simply because club sports have become too expensive.
We are rewriting that story.
For the 2026 Season, Driven Dragons Volleyball Academy is opening 3 Full-Scholarship Roster Spots specifically for our 12U Regional Team. These athletes will not be "practice players." They will be full team members, receiving the same elite training, the same gear, and the same tournament opportunities as every other Dragon.
Who We Are Scouting
We are looking for local 12-year-olds who possess The Three H's:
-
Height (Vertical & Reach) We don't just measure how tall you stand; we measure how high you play. We are looking for athletes with explosive power, a strong vertical jump, and the potential to play "above the net."
-
Heart (Attitude) A positive, coachable attitude. We want players who lift their teammates up and stay resilient when the score is down.
-
Hustle (Work Ethic) A willingness to pursue every ball. We are looking for the athlete who dives on the floor and works harder than anyone else in the gym.
The Eligibility Criteria
-
Age: Must be eligible for the 12U Division (Born on or after July 1, 2012).
-
Merit: Must pass an on-court evaluation to gauge athletic potential.
-
Financial Qualification: Families must provide proof of qualification for the National School Lunch Program (Free or Reduced Lunch).
For Business Partners: Ignite a Future Star
We aren't asking for a donation; we are asking for a marketing partnership that changes a life.
By sponsoring a Rising Dragon, you cover the "Hard Costs" (Uniforms, Backpacks, USAV Memberships) that often prevent families from saying "Yes."
The "Adopt an Athlete" Tier ($500)
-
Impact: Covers the athlete's full Equipment Package & Safety Gear.
-
Visibility: Your Company Logo patched onto the athlete's warm-up gear (worn at all tournaments).
-
Recognition: Feature in our newsletter and a "Community Hero" social media spotlight.
-
Connection: A professional photo opportunity with your sponsored athlete to display in your business.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is this a charity program?
A: The Rising Dragons Initiative is an outreach program run by the Academy. For businesses, contributions are structured as Sponsorships (in exchange for advertising/logo placement), allowing them to be categorized as business marketing expenses.
Q: Will the scholarship players be identified differently?
A: Off the court, they will be celebrated as "Rising Dragons." On the court, they are just teammates. They wear the same jersey and are held to the same high standards of conduct and effort as every other player in the Academy.

The Culture Junior Ambassador Program
Play.
Lead. Inspire.
Are you ready to be more than just a player? At Driven Dragons, we believe that true champions serve their community. The Culture Junior Ambassador (CJA) program is our exclusive "Work-Study" leadership track for high school athletes (15U-18U) who want to build their resume, give back to the next generation, and leave a legacy.
The Mission:
"The Big Sister Program"
As a Junior Ambassador, you aren't just a volunteer; you are a Mentor. You will be paired with our 12U Rising Dragons team to serve as a role model and an assistant to the coaching staff.
Your Core Responsibilities:
-
Mentorship (The "Big Sister"): Partner with younger athletes during drills to demonstrate form, encourage effort, and build their confidence.
-
Operations (The "Right Hand"): Support the Head Coach and Assistant Coach by keeping practice moving efficiently, shagging balls, setting up nets, and tossing for drills so the coach can focus on teaching.
-
Stewardship (The "Advocate"): Help ensure the future of the program by actively sharing our "Sponsor a Player" initiatives with your community network.
The Schedule & Commitment
This program is designed to fit seamlessly into your existing training schedule.

What You Earn (The Benefits)

-
🎓 Resume Power: Earn the official title of "Culture Junior Ambassador & Youth Mentor," a leadership distinction that stands out to college recruiters and employers.
-
⏱️ Verified Service Hours: We track your time. The Club CEO will officially sign off on your High School Volunteer/Community Service Forms (approx. 60-90 mins per week).
-
🏐 Skill Mastery: Get extra "low-impact" touches (serving, passing, setting) before your practice even starts.
-
🎁 The "90% Club" Swag: Ambassadors who attend 90% of their scheduled sessions earn exclusive Driven Dragons leadership gear (Hoodies/Apparel) not available to the public.
Eligibility & Requirements

How to Sponsor a Player
At Driven Dragons, our most competitive teams require athletes to try out before being accepted. The more competitive the team, the higher the tuition rate for the club season, ranging from $2,500 to $5,300. These fees enable our athletes to travel across the United States, compete against top teams, and gain exposure to college coaches recruiting at a high level of play.
While we offer scholarships for athletes who qualify for free lunch programs, some families still struggle to afford club volleyball tuition. That’s where our Sponsor a Player program comes in, allowing anyone to support a talented athlete in need.
Why Sponsor a Player?
By sponsoring a player, you help a dedicated athlete pursue their passion and compete at a high level, regardless of their family’s financial situation. Your generosity can make a lasting impact on their volleyball journey and future opportunities.
Sponsorship Options
-
Anonymous Sponsorship: You can choose to remain anonymous, and your contribution will quietly support an athlete’s season.
-
Acknowledged Sponsorship: If you prefer recognition, we can feature you on our Sponsor a Player page, including your story about why you chose to sponsor a player. Additionally, you can be highlighted in our monthly newsletters, reaching over 1,200 families in areas like Downingtown, Exton, Malvern, Coatesville, Phoenixville, Devon, Pottstown, and Kennett Square.
How to Become a Sponsor
-
Learn About a Player: A family may share our Sponsor a Player page with you and request your support for their athlete.
-
Contact Us: Send an email to info@DrivenDragonsVBA.com expressing your interest in becoming a sponsor.
-
Next Steps: Our team will reach out to discuss payment options and your preferences for recognition (anonymous or acknowledged) through our Academy’s platforms.
Your support helps keep the court accessible to all talented athletes. Thank you for considering sponsoring a player at Driven Dragons!
